France won by a wide margin on Sunday night in Rotherham, England. Gracie Guerrero scored a hat-trick for France, while Marie Katoto and Delphine Cascarino added 1-1. France scored all five goals before halftime. With the victory, France has taken the lead with three points in Group D of Euro Cup women's football. Iceland and Belgium are second and third in the group with 1-1 points respectively.
Italy is at the bottom of the group. In another match on Sunday night, Belgium and Iceland have drawn 1-0. The second round matches of the group will start on Monday in Euro Cup Football. Austria and Northern Ireland will meet when host England plays Norway on Saturday night.
