Nepal Telecom Palpa has started high speed internet service in Rampur, eastern part of the district. Telecom has started services with expansion of high speed internet infrastructure through fiber to the home (FTTH) technology in various places within Rampur city.
The office said that after expanding the network, it has started distributing high-speed internet to customers' homes. At present, this service is provided in Rampur Bejhadbazar Chowk, Srinagar hotel area, road to Bangepsal, road to Materi, Bijpur and other places, informed Dhakaram Paudyal, Head of Telecommunication Office Palpa.
He informed that currently the company is providing FTTH service through various packages. Customers can also take internet service, television service and voice service and any of these necessary services. The information officer of the office Sriram Regmi informed that the company has been providing internet from 8 Mbps to 100 Mbps capacity at a very cheap rate.
He informed that up to 100 meters of optical fiber cable and SIP-router are provided for free to the customers who take the annual package. Customers can get one month, three months and one year FTTH package. Regmi said that because IP-based HD television can be watched, the number of subscribers is increasing daily.
