Jul 27, Kathmandu: Film Development Board Chairman Bhuwan KC has said that he entered politics for the development of the film industry.

KC who is also an actor said this while assuming the office of chairman of the Film Development Board on Wednesday. He said that he joined politics for the upliftment and development of the film industry.

Speaking to the media after assuming office, Executive Chairman KC said that he has a great responsibility for the development of the film sector. He mentioned that he has been in the Nepali film industry for 4 decades, so he is aware of the problems in the film industry.

He promised to solve the problems of the Nepali film sector in the coming days and especially emphasize the problems of film technicians. President KC said that he entered the Nepali film industry from a young age and said that he will work for the upliftment of the film industry until his death.

Executive Chairman KC said that he will work for the development and upliftment of the movie.
