Jul 27, Kathmandu: Singer and actor Prashant Tamang has become the father of a daughter.

His wife Martha Eli Tamang gave birth to a daughter on Wednesday morning. They have become the parents of their first child. Prashant has published pictures of his daughter on social media and expressed his happiness that they have become father and mother.

He has also given the information that his daughter has been named 'Ariya'. Prashanth, who is also the winner of Indian Idol Season 3, married his girlfriend Martha 3 years ago. Martha is an air hostess by profession.

The movie Pardeshi 2 starring him will be released on October 14th. Earlier, he acted in films such as 'Gorkha Paltan', 'Pardeshi', 'Nishani', 'Angalo Yo Mayako', 'Kina Mayama'.
