Jul 28. Kathmandu- Buddhist monk Phurba Syangmo Tamang has registered a case of abuse and assault against actress Miruna Magar and film technician Prithvi Singh Thakuri in the Kathmandu District Court.
Tamang filed a case on behalf of the plaintiff in the filed case and demanded punishment according to the law. Kathmandu District Court Information Officer Deepak Dahal confirmed to Online News that the case has been registered.
Phurba has mentioned in the complaint that he was forced to register a case after actress Magar ignored him despite repeated attempts to apologize.
Action has been demanded against Thakuri, a film technician, for inciting Miruna. On May 29, Miruna, who went to a coffee shop in Civil Mall in Kathmandu to promote the film 'Kabaddi 4', slapped Phurba saying that she had been molested.
After this incident became public, Buddhist monks and the Buddhist community protested against the film. There was also an agreement by apologizing that there would be no controversy between the film and the Buddhist community. Within a week of the agreement, both Miruna and Phurba again got into a dispute.
After that, the situation became more complicated than calm. At this time, a case has been filed saying that Miruna should apologize again. Miruna is an actress in 'Kabaddi 4' while Thakuri was working as a film technician.
Miruna is in London at present.
