Former PM Dr. Bhattarai Registered Nepal Samajwadi Party On EC

Jul 28, Kathmandu: Nepal Samajwadi Party formed by former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has been registered with the Election Commission(EC). According to the EC, the name of the Inclusive Democratic Party has been changed to Nepal Samajwadi Party.

The Inclusive Democratic Party was registered in the name of former student leader Deepak Lamichhane near Baburam. "The Constitution of the Inclusive Democratic Party has been rewritten and updated," the Commission source said, "the party flag and seal have also been changed."

The election symbol has been given to only one eye that is open. This election sign was formerly of New Power. Lamichhane had registered with the Inclusive Democratic Party Commission some time ago with an open eye election symbol.

Baburam joined the formation of a new party after leaving the JSP Federal Council. Even though the Nepal Samajwadi Party is registered with the Election Commission. The central members including the president have not been updated. According to Bishwadeep Pandey, a leader close to Baburam, the Nepal Samajwadi Party has been registered with the commission today.
