Bhim Rawal Demands Actions Against Who Did Not Obey Oath!

Aug 2, Kathmandu: CPN-UML member of parliament (MP) Dr. Bhim Rawal has said that the country has been pushed towards independent practice.

He said this while speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives(HoR) on Tuesday. MP Rawal said that according to Article 269 of the Constitution of Nepal, people who have the same ideology, philosophy and program will join a political party.

 But such a party should register this with the Election Commission, but it is being openly violated. Although it is written that a person who holds any public office who has to take an oath, will follow the prevailing laws.  The goodwill of the country and the people without fear of anyone, without partiality, without prejudice or bad feelings in the country.

 Now, the country is being rude to foreigners, fearing, the constitution. Michi said that the character is starting to look like he will violate it. MP Rawal demanded that after taking the oath, it should be legally mandated to follow it, and not then action would be taken. He accused the government of violating the agreement made with Jiamar Company in Upper Karnali without any hesitation.

MP Rawal said that the work of openly conniving with foreigners has started intensifying and he said that action should be taken against those who do not implement the oath. He also demanded from the government to make a legal arrangement that people holding public office will be punished if they do not follow the oath.

In the discussion on the proposal to consider the '(Oath Bill, 2022 AD)' in the HoR meeting. He pointed out that the people who took the oath have openly violated the constitution, law, sovereignty of the country, national self-respect, and geographical integrity and requested the government to make a legal arrangement so that such people will be prosecuted.

MP Rawal also objected saying that the ruling parties are doing activities that are against the national interest, contrary to the constitution and laws, by talking about coordination in the elections. Stating that the SPP and MCC issues and extending the deadline of 2 years to the GMR company in Upper Karnali are attacking the national sovereignty. 

Leader Rawal also said that such people should be immediately punished. Leader Rawal alluded to Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and accused him of playing a foreign role and doing activities against the national identity.
