Aug 11, Kathmandu- Samsung has released its new foldable smartphone Galaxy Fold 4. The company launched this phone in the market through the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday.

The weight of this phone is 263 grams. While the weight of Galaxy Z Fold 3 was 271 grams. In this way, this phone is still heavier than normal smartphones and small tablets.

This phone has IPX8 water resistance. This phone has a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and 12 GB of RAM. Talking about the storage, it is available from 256 GB to 1 TB. The Fold 4 has a 50-megapixel main camera and a telephoto camera that can zoom up to three times.

 In addition to this, 30 times digital zoom can be done. In addition, the phone also has an F/1.8 lens and optical stabilization. But it is not as powerful as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The display of this phone is slightly wider than the normal phone. When the phone is folded, there is still some gap in the middle. Some software updates are expected to improve the multitasking experience on the phone.

The price of this phone is 1799 US dollars (about two hundred and twenty-nine thousand rupees). The main screen of Z Fold Four is 6.7 inches. But according to Samsung, its strength is 45 percent higher.

Strong ultra-thin glass has been used in the phone. Both the screens of the phone have an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. Which also supports Samsung's foldable focused S Pen.

The camera hidden inside the display of the Fold Four looks more organized than before. It has a sensor of 4 megapixels.

The pre-order of the phone has been opened in the world market from today. It will be available in the market from 26th August. The Galaxy Z Fold will be available in Gray-Green, Light Gray, and Pale Black colors.
