Aug 12, Kathmandu- In the first edition of the Nepal T20 Cricket League, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), a 'draft' will be held for the selection of players. Since the team does not have enough information about the players, the players are going to be selected through the draft in the first edition. Players from different countries are offering their names for the league.

CAN is classifying the players in different categories according to the list received. Can has prepared to draft the players in the first week of Bhadra. There will be 11 Nepali players in one team. The team will be made up of 16 people. There is a provision that every team can send five foreign players.

The first edition will be held from Ashoj 8 to Kartik 5 at Kirtipur grounds. CAN said that 6 teams from 6 different cities will participate in the competition. CAN has already announced the names and owners of the four teams that will participate in the league.
