Aug 12, Kathmandu- A young man has been arrested by the police from Kohalpur in Banke on the charge of raping a teenage girl. The arrested person is 23-year-old Prakash Rokaya, resident of Tripurasundari Municipality-9 in Dolpa.

Rokaya, who runs a chicken farm in Baijanath Rural Municipality-1, was arrested on Thursday morning, District Police Office Banke said. It is alleged that Rokaya raped an 18-year-old girl by taking her to Indreni Hotel and Lodge in Kohalpur Municipality-11. The incident is being investigated by the local police office, Kohalpur.
