Japan Preparing To Take More Than 5 Thousand Nepali Workers

Aug 12, Kathmandu- The second meeting of the joint working committee formed to discuss the employment of Nepali workers in Japan has been completed.

In that meeting, Japan said that it is ready to take more than 5,000 Nepali workers. The meeting had a comprehensive discussion on sending Nepali workers who passed the language and skill test to Japan soon. The meeting discussed four issues in particular.

There was a discussion about the preparation of the Nepal-Japan Labor Agreement by incorporating the current legal provisions of Nepal and Japan, and the implementation of Japan's (SSW) system to send Nepalese citizens to Japan.

Similarly, there is a matter of facilitating the sending of Nepali people who are ready to go to Japan after passing the Japanese language and skill test in Nepal as soon as possible and informing the employers that workers can be available from Nepal under the official means (SSW) system of the Japanese government.

Similarly, in the meeting, there was also a discussion on the need to make information flow accurate and fast. When something changes legally in Nepal, the Japanese government has to be informed as well.
