Memorial Being Built Honoring The Blackbuck Killed By Him 24 Years Ago

Aug 13, Kathmandu- Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been in the limelight for some time now. After receiving death threats to him, he has rarely appeared in public. His security has also been greatly increased. Salman was threatened with death by the Lawrence Bishnoi group some time ago. People of Bishnoi society consider the blackbuck as a form of God. Salman was accused of killing a blackbuck. 24 years ago, during the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hai', this issue came out when Salman went hunting.

A grand monument and an animal rescue centre are being constructed at the same place where the deer was found dead. The memorial will be built in Kankani village at around 7 bigha land (a small portion of land). A huge 3-feet statue of black deer weighing 800 kg will be erected at the site made of cement and iron bars, and a rescue centre will also be built for the treatment of animals and birds.

Local Hanuman Ram Bishnoi revealed that at the time Salman killed the deer, he demanded to build a temple for the protection of local animals. He said that this decision was taken to inform anyone who comes to the temple about the importance of animal conservation.
