Aug 13, Kathmandu- Citizen App has asked the customers who pay vehicle tax using its platform to verify the amount before making the payment.

"If you are paying the vehicle tax through the Citizen app, please check the payment amount before making the payment", the notification said, "if in doubt about the displayed amount, contact the transport office".

In addition, the app also said that the revenue that has already been paid will not be returned.

There is no provision to revert (return) the amount deposited in the revenue account. In the case of vehicle tax, if there is more filing, it can be reconciled in the next financial year," the notification states.
