Rs 7 Lakhs Given For Hiding The Incident Of Raping A 13-year-old

Aug 14, Kathmandu- 7 lakh rupees to hide the incident of raping a 13-year-old girl in Jumla has been revealed.

It has been claimed that an agreement was made in the presence of the local police to hide the incident. Prem Jung Mahat, a resident of Chandannath Municipality-7 in Jumla, raped the girl who was adopted at his house. It is revealed that 7 lakhs rupees were given to the mother of the girl to settle the incident.

It has also been revealed that an agreement has been made between them. Locals said that the accused Mahat kept the girl as an adopted daughter to work at home. Currently, the incident has come out and the District Police Office Jumla is investigating the matter.

It has been revealed that the local police, advocates, security guards working in the Human Rights Commission, hoteliers, etc., made a deal in Rohawar. Kali Bahadur Bhandari (ward member) Chandannath Municipality 5, Jeevan Mahat, Nawaraj Bharati of Chandannath-4, Ishwori Arasi of Tatopani Village Municipality-8, Advocate Dil Bahadur Mahat, and Mahendra Bahadur Mahat of Chandannath-7 had signed the agreement document.
