Aug 21, Kathmandu- Umesh Shrestha, Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, has said that he was saddened by the news of the death of Congress leader Pradeep Giri.

State Minister Shrestha said this while paying tribute to Pradeep Giri. "The news of the tragic death of our dear friend Mr. Pradeep Giri during his treatment has caused grief. I am numb and speechless. I pay my respects to him", he has mentioned.

Minister of State Shrestha has prayed to God to give the bereaved family the strength to be patient while summoning sympathy and pain. Giri passed away on Saturday night while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital.
