Sep 21, Kathmandu: A 65-year-old man infected with dengue died during treatment in Khadak Municipality-8 of Saptari.While 6 people have been infected.  According to the health center, 6 people were found to be infected with dengue during the check-up of 10 people in Kanchanrup municipality of Saptari.

On September 11, a 45-year-old man from Ward No. 11 of Kanchanrup, a 24-year-old man from Ward No. 6, and a 17-year-old boy from Ward No. 8 was found to have dengue. Dengue was found in 2 people during a checkup on September 11. dengue was found in a 40-year-old man from Agnisair Krishnasavaran Rural Municipality-6 on September 15.

 Health Center Kanchanrup informed that a 26-year-old man from Ward 8 and a 65-year-old man from Ward 11 were also infected with dengue. The health department has suggested avoiding mosquito bites as much as possible because the infection is transmitted through mosquito bites.
