Greek Police Find Dozens of Naked Migrants At Border

Oct 17, Kathmandu: United Nations has expressed deep concern after more than 100 migrant men were found naked on the border between Greece and Turkey.

Between 2015 and 2016, the number of refugees from conflict-affected countries increased rapidly and millions of refugees reached Greece through Turkey. After this incident, accusations have been made between Greece and Turkey.

The men found near the northern border of Turkey were rescued by the Greek police, while some of them were found injured. After this incident, Greece accused Turkey of such behavior as an insult to civilization.

Turkey has termed its neighbor as 'barbarism'. An investigation by the Greek police and the European Union's border agency Frontex has revealed that all these migrants crossed the river from Turkey and entered the territory of Greece.
