Nov 6, Kathmandu: The police have arrested four people with illegal drugs in different parts of the country.

Police arrested 25-year-old Dipendra Rajwanshi of Bahradarshi Rural Municipality-1 along with 1 gram and 300 milligrams of illegal drug brown sugar from Virtamod Municipality-4 of Jhapa on Saturday afternoon. The police deputed from Narcotics Control Bureau Kakadvitta Jhapa found them with the substance and arrested them.

Similarly, 20-year-old Kiran Chand, a resident of the same municipality-13, was arrested by the police on Saturday afternoon from Toli Khola in Veriganga Municipality-10 of Surkhet, along with about 3 grams and 44 milligrams of heroin. The police stationed from Ela police office Chinchu, while checking vehicle No. 4 B 5328 coming from Nepalganj towards Surkhet, found it with heroin and arrested him in the vehicle.

Similarly, 19-year-old Sushant Gurung, a resident of the same rural municipality-4D village, was arrested by the police on Saturday evening with about 50 grams of illegal drug marijuana from Bhatwa Chowk of Khajura Rural Municipality-7 in Banke.

The police stationed from Ela police office Dhanoli found him with marijuana and arrested him during the investigation. When he was arrested and interrogated, he said that he had bought the marijuana from the house of 25-year-old Rahis Darzi, a resident of Khajura Rural Municipality-7, Bathwa. Currently, the police are searching for the absconding tailor.
