Nov 18, Kathmandu- Actress Namrata Sapkota has been roped in for the film 'Nambari Sun' directed by Raju Giri. The production unit signed a contract with Namrata on Friday to act as the lead actress of the film.

Namrata, who made her debut in acting with 'Antaraal', has also acted in films. Director Raju Giri said that the modesty that is constantly seen even in the music video is suitable for the role of the film.

Director Giri is going to make the movie 'Nambari Sun' on a historical social story from almost 70 years. Actor Amesh Bhandari entered the film, which will start shooting on the 7th of Mangsir.

The film will be shot in Bhujung Khola, Hetaunda, and Kathmandu in Lamjung. Narayan Khati is the presenter, producer, lyricist, and storyteller of the film, which is being produced under the banner of Subarna Shivans Films. The film will have music by Santosh Shrestha, cinematography by Divya Subedi, and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane.
