Nov 18, Kathmandu- Bomb disposal teams have been mobilized across the country in view of the elections to be held on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, 903 army bomb disposal teams have been mobilized to dispose of bombs placed to affect the elections. In a press conference held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday, the Secretary of the Ministry, Binod Prakash Singh, said, "Bomb disposal teams of the army have been deployed in 903 places across the country, more teams will be added as per the need".
A senior officer of the Nepali Army informed that a team "standby" is kept which can defuse the bomb as per the requirement. According to him, another 150 teams are ready to defuse the bomb.
