Index Fell By 7 Points In The Open Stock Market After The Election

Nov 22, Kathmandu- The NEPSE index, which is a measure of the capital market, has decreased at a time when the elections for the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly are fully in the process. Despite the increase in turnover, the index has decreased by 7 points.

According to the information given by Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the open market after the election has decreased by 7.13 points. Today, the scrip price of 52 companies increased while the scrip price of 132 companies decreased. NEPSE has informed that there is no change in the price of 6 companies.

Today, 37 lakh 63 thousand shares were traded for 1 billion 35 crores 28 lakh rupees. Even in the declining market, the assets of investors of Janaki Finance, Khaptad Microfinance, Dhaulagiri Microfinance Sayapatri Hydro, and Siddharth Equity have increased. Because the share price of these companies has increased. The highest turnover was in the shares of Nepal Bank.
