Nov 23, Kathmandu- Government-owned telecommunication company Nepal Telecom has been declared as the best taxpayer. The Internal Revenue Department awarded the best taxpayer for paying the highest income tax in the financial year 2077/78.

On the occasion of Tax Day, the government celebrates it as Tax Week from the 17th to the 23rd of November every year. On Wednesday, the last day of the tax week, the best taxpayers were awarded.

Shiva Shakti Ghiu Industry from export business and Rajesh Metal from special industry also got the honor of being the best taxpayer.
