Nov 24, Kathmandu- One lakh 15,000 fixed-term police (temporary) who were assigned to guard the election held on November 20 for the members of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly bid farewell on Thursday.

Under the special security plan prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs, temporary police were recruited for election security. On October 16th, Nepal Police recruited 115,000 police officers from all 77 districts. The police officers were sent away with thanks and certificates.
