Nov 25, Kathmandu- Ajod Insurance Limited has called a special general meeting on November 25 (today). The meeting of board of directors of the company on November 6 has decided to hold the meeting at Lainchaur Banquet, Kathmandu at 11 am.

Considering the capital increase campaign, the company which is in the process of merger with Prabhu Insurance will approve the study committee formed for the merger. The meeting will also decide to give all necessary responsibilities for the merger work to the board of directors.

The company has also fixed the issue of permanent share ownership change for the meeting. The assembly will also approve the issue of 51:49 percent share ownership by converting 19 percent shares of the founding group to common stock from the current ratio of 70:30.

For the purpose of a special general meeting, the company has closed the book for one day on 18th November. A merger agreement was signed between Prabhu and Ajod Insurance on October 18.
