Voting Counting Result Is Continues!

Nov 26,Kathmandu:  The results of the House of Representatives(HoR) and Provincial Assembly elections that were held on Sunday are still coming in. According to the voting results announced on Friday, the candidates of various political parties have won the seats in the HoR.

According to Mahottari news reporter Mahesh Kumar Das, Mahottari Constituency no. Mahanth Thakur, President of Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) Nepal has won from 3 seats in the HoR. According to the results of the counting of votes completed on Friday evening, DSPA president Thakur has won by a margin of 2,500 votes over his nearest rival.

This is Thakur's second victory from this constituency. According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, Thakur, who is also the common candidate of the five-party alliance, has secured 16,375 votes. His nearest rival, Harinarayan Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party, has secured 14,325 votes.

Koirala won from Morang

Bye-elections were held in Morang 7 after Gachchdar of Forum won from Sunsari 3 and Morang 7.

Koirala, who won from Morang 7 in the second Constituent Assembly election, was defeated by 685 votes against UML leader Lalbabu Pandit from Morang 6 in the first election after the promulgation of the 2015 constitution. Koirala, who is contesting the election for the fifth time, has defeated Pandit by a large margin this time.

Similarly, Morang-5 Independent candidate Yogendra Mandal won by getting 21 thousand 820 votes. His closest rival Shivkumar Mandal of the Maoist Center got 17,486 votes.
