Nov 26,Kathmandu:  The results of the House of Representatives(HoR) and Provincial Assembly elections that were held on Sunday are still coming in. According to the voting results announced on Friday, the candidates of various political parties have won the seats in the HoR.

According to Mahottari news reporter Mahesh Kumar Das, Mahottari Constituency no. Mahanth Thakur, President of Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) Nepal has won from 3 seats in the HoR. According to the results of the counting of votes completed on Friday evening, DSPA president Thakur has won by a margin of 2,500 votes over his nearest rival.

This is Thakur's second victory from this constituency. According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, Thakur, who is also the common candidate of the five-party alliance, has secured 16,375 votes. His nearest rival, Harinarayan Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party, has secured 14,325 votes.

Koirala won from Morang

According to source, the final voting results of three constituencies of Morang have been announced. According to the results of the public vote on Friday, . Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has been elected with 35 thousand 739 votes in Morang'-6. His nearest rival Lalbabu Pandit of UML got 21 thousand 392 votes. 72-year-old Koirala, who left the medical profession in 2007 AD and entered Congress politics, has been elected for the third time. For the first time, Koirala, who was defeated in the Constituent Assembly election from Morang 7 by the then Madhesi Janadhikhar Forum leader Vijay Kumar Gachchdar, won the 2065 by-election from the same constituency. Bye-elections were held in Morang 7 after Gachchdar of Forum won from Sunsari 3 and Morang 7.

Koirala, who won from Morang 7 in the second Constituent Assembly election, was defeated by 685 votes against UML leader Lalbabu Pandit from Morang 6 in the first election after the promulgation of the 2015 constitution. Koirala, who is contesting the election for the fifth time, has defeated Pandit by a large margin this time.

Similarly, Morang-5 Independent candidate Yogendra Mandal won by getting 21 thousand 820 votes. His closest rival Shivkumar Mandal of the Maoist Center got 17,486 votes. Amanlal Modi of the Maoist Center has won in constituency number 4. While he got 30,612 votes, rival UML's Vinod Dhakal got 24,463 votes.

Bhandari of Congress in Gulmi 1

According to sources, Chandra Bhandari has won in Gulmi-1. Bhandari won by a margin of 1,592 votes. He got 33 thousand 744 votes, while his closest opponent, CPN (UML) Deputy Secretary General Pradeep Kumar Gyawali got 32 thousand 152 votes.

Baskota at Kavrepalanchok-2

According to sources, UML Politburo member and former minister Gokul Prasad Baskota has won in Kavrepalanchok-2. Baskota won for the second time by defeating Congress candidate Shiv Prasad Humagai by a margin of 5,863 votes. Baskota got 45 thousand 345 votes and Humagai got 39 thousand 482 votes.

Kiranti, the common candidate of the ruling coalition, has received 28,578 votes. His closest rival Sherdhan Rai of CPN (UML) got 26 thousand 193 votes. Bhandari of UML won from Baitadi
