Mitchell Duke scored the decisive goal in the 23rd minute to give Australia victory in the match at the Al Janoub Stadium.

Although Tunisia also had a chance to score in the game, Australian defender Harry Souttar and goalkeeper Matt Ryan did not give the Tunisian players a chance to score.

After the first win in Group D, Australia has added 3 points and keeps the possibility of reaching the last 16. Australia lost to France in the first match.
