Doti: Rescue Of The Delivery By Helicopter

Nov 30, Kathmandu- A pregnant woman has been rescued from Doti by helicopter. Doti Chief District Officer Kalpana Shrestha informed that 27-year-old Amruta Devi Bohra of Lana Kedareswar, Ward No. 5, Badikedar Rural Municipality of the district, was rescued by a helicopter after bleeding profusely.

She was taken to Provincial Hospital Surkhet by the helicopter of the Nepal Army for further treatment at the initiative of various agencies after he suffered from profuse bleeding in the community health unit Lana Rantola. Under the President's Women's Upliftment Program, pregnant and post-partum women from remote areas are rescued by helicopter if necessary.
