Palpasa Cafe is on the most loved novel in Nepal and the author Narayan Wagle himself is known for his amazing writing through his creations like Koreana-Coffee Guff, Mayur Times and many other. Palpa Cafe is a very old novel but it is loved and adored by every generation of reader. 

Acc. to the Wagle his novel was asked by filmmakers but he didn't trusted anyone as he defines this book as his first love letter but now time has come that Palpasa Cafe is taking theatrical form. 

Suraj Subedi prolific young writer has rewritten the novel in theatrical format and Bimal Subedi  the most renound name in Nepali theater when it comes to direction because of his masterpieces like "Makkai Ko Arko Khrti", "Sandaju Ko Mahabharat" is directing the play with assistant directorial help from young director Dilip Ranabhatt  who himslef has proven to be efficient director through his works like "Singhadurbar Ko Tender" and Jhimik Jhimik Jhyappa" , so with this amazing writter and directorial team we can already guess how amazing this play is going to be. 

Sawastima Khadka is one of the actors in the play she will be sharing stage with talanted bunch of theater actors like Samapika Gautam, Sajan Kumar Sunuwar, Jenny Sunuwar, Deepesh Rai, Bachchu Himansu, Ramkrishna Pariyar, Nima Sherpa, Purnima Acharya, Sushma Rai, Roshan Niraula and Kapil Rai.

Theater village in assocation with Mandala Theater Nepal is producing this play.
