Jan 24, Kathmandu- 1 person has died due to the earthquake that hit Bichhiya as the epicenter of Bajura's Himali Rural Municipality.
Jamuna Rokaya of Gaumul Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 has died according to the District Police Office Bajura. Locals said that he died when the stones fell from above due to the earthquake while he was cutting grass in the forest. 1 local was injured in Gaumul rural municipality ward number 1. It is said that 40 to 50 sheep died and Ram Dal Bohora, a shepherd, was injured when a landslide erupted from above when the sheep were grazing in the forest.
Dozens of houses were damaged by the earthquake. Some houses have been destroyed. Schools are also said to have been damaged. Similarly, some were injured. At 2:43 PM on Tuesday, a 5.9 Richter scale earthquake took place near Bichhiya of Himali Rural Municipality of Bajura.
