Feb 9, Kathmandu: CPN Maoist Center has made Agni Prasad Sapkota the vice president. Also, Deputy General Secretary Pampha Bhusal has also been promoted to become Vice-President.

The Maoist Center issued a circular on Wednesday and said that Sapkota and Bhusal have been promoted to vice presidents. Earlier, Narayankaji Shrestha was the Senior Vice President and Krishna Bahadur Mahara was the Vice President.

The former Speaker Sapkota was not in any responsibility of the party. The Deputy General Secretary included Haribol Gajurel, Janardhan Sharma, Barshman Pun, Girirajmani Pokharel, Matrika Yadav, and Shakti Basnet.

Similarly, the secretaries are Ganesh Sah, Dinanath Sharma, Chakrapani Khanal, Devendra Paudel, Leelamani Pokharel, Hitraj Pandey, Hitman Shakya, Ram Karki, and Dilaram Acharya. Shriram Dhakal is the treasurer. The Maoist center now has 22 officials, 44 permanent committee members, 386 central committee members, and 202 alternate central committee members.
