Feb 9, Kathmandu: The first convention of the Bibeksheel Sajhaa Party (BSP) is starting on Friday.

There is a program to inaugurate the convention at 10 am on Friday morning at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan in Kamaladi at Kathmandu. The party said that leaders of other parties have also been invited to the opening program of the convention.

Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman Baburam Bhattarai, who is also a former Prime Minister, Nepali Congress General Minister Vishwa Prakash Sharma, CPN Maoist Center Vice Chairman Pampha Bhusal, National Independent Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, CPN Unified Socialist Party Leader Ghanshyam Bhusal, Janamat Party Chairman Sike Raut, Nepal Good Governance Party Chairman Ramesh Kharel and others are invited. in the convention.

Viveksheel Saha has not invited former president Ravindra Mishra to the convention. Mishra is now the senior vice president of RPP. BSP  said that RPP was also not invited to the convention.

Who are the contenders for the presidency?

Three leaders have claimed the post of president of  BSP. There is a preparation to select the leadership as unanimously as possible.

The current president Samishka Baskota, leader Milan Pandey and Prakashchandra Periyar are contenders for the presidency. Pandey was also expelled from the party as an ordinary member during the time of the then president Rabindra Mishra.

But Mishra resigned from the chairmanship and requested the central committee to release the actions of the leaders who were prosecuted. Recently, Pandey joined BSP again and is preparing for the convention.
