Feb 24, Kathmandu- The meeting of the 5-party coalition before the election continues in Baluwatar.
Leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Center, United Socialist Party, Janata Samajwadi Party are participating in the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence. Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, General Minister Gagan Thapa are participating in the meeting, Party President Pushpa Kamal Dahal Uprachandu, who is also the Prime Minister from the Maoist Center, and Senior Vice President Narayan Kaji Shrestha are also participating in the meeting.
Similarly, Madhav Nepal, president of United Samajwadi Party, and Upendra Yadav, president of Jaspa, are also participating in the meeting. Sources said that the presidential election and revival of the old alliance are being discussed in the meeting. Earlier on Thursday, the meeting of the three parties held at the office of the parliamentary party of the CPN Maoist Center concluded that they will discuss with the Congress. Accordingly, on Friday morning, the leaders of the former coalition were engaged in discussions.
This discussion held in the run-up to the presidential election is viewed with importance in political circles.
