Mar 07, Kathmandu: The Election Commission has decided to hold the presidential election on March 9.

Four days before the end of President Bidya Devi Bhandari's tenure, the commission has fixed the date of the presidential election on March 9. The meeting of the commission held on Monday decided to hold elections for the selection of the president on March 9.

The 5-year tenure of President Bidya Devi Bhandari is coming to an end on 29 February. In addition, the Commission has decided to hold elections for the selection of the Vice President on March 17.
