Sindhuli Bus Accident: 3 Injured Brought To Kathmandu By Helicopter

Mar 12, Kathmandu- In the bus accident that killed 6 people in Phikkal of Sindhuli, 3 people who were seriously injured have been brought from Khurkot to Kathmandu via helicopter for further treatment.

Police chief SP Rajkumar Silva informed that the seriously injured were sent to Kathmandu after first aid at Sunkosi Community Hospital in Khurkot. 6 people including 3 men, 2 women, and 1 girl were killed in the accident of a passenger bus on Sunday in Kuhibhir of Phikkal Rural Municipality-4 of Sindhuli under the Madhya Pahadi Highway.

Twenty-eight people were injured in the accident. 6 people died on the spot when bus number Ba 2 B 6596 coming from Okhaldhunga to Kathmandu met with an accident. There were 34 passengers on the bus. The injured were rescued by the police and locals together. Relatives and locals have blocked the BP highway in Khurkot because of the delay in rescuing the injured.
