Mar 15, Kathmandu: The Bancharedanda landfill site affected area management committee has warned not to dump in Bancharedanda from 15 May 2023 AD.

The government committee wrote a petition to the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and gave this warning. The committee has strongly protested against the violation of the citizens' property rights and rights to live in a clean environment and the misuse of state power to destroy the overall image of the valley.

The committee stated that if the government and related parties do not start a credible implementation process with the opinion of the government by the end of May, regarding the establishment of a humanitarian-free zone in the affected area or a prohibited area for the area, the committee said that the removal of the area will be completely stopped.

It has been mentioned in the letter that there has been a negative impact due to the Bancharedanda landfill site and that despite repeatedly drawing the attention of the concerned parties, they have not been able to take responsibility for this matter.
