Bagmati Government Will Provide Rs 1 Lakh To Each Player Of The World Cup League 2

Mar 17, Kathmandu- Bagmati state government is going to reward Nepali players who have performed well under ICC World Cup League 2. The state government has announced that the players will be awarded a prize of Rs 1 lakh each.

Jagannath Thapaliya, spokesperson of the state government and Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, informed that it was decided to award that amount as an incentive to those who succeeded in making history through cricket.

He said that the state government is proud of the fact that the cricket players played excellently and brought the country to the top. Due to the victory over UAE, Nepal has reached the World Cup qualification by being third in the table. Among the seven teams participating in the World Cup League 2, the top three teams will qualify for the World Cup.
