PM's Directive To Install Floodlights And Score-Board At Kirtipur Ground

Mar 17, Kathmandu: The government has announced to give a prize of three lakh rupees to all the players selected in the World Cup Cricket Qualifiers.

On Friday, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachand" congratulated the winning team by inviting them to the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar, and said that the winning players would be given three lakh rupees each.

He also directed the National Sports Council to immediately install modern flood lights and scoreboards at the Kirtipur ground. Prime Minister Prachanda said that efforts are being made to speed up the construction of a cricket stadium with facilities.

He said, "I announce that the government will give three lakhs to all the winning players. I direct the National Sports Council to immediately replace the floodlights and scoreboard in Kirtipur.

Prime Minister Dahal said that the government is advancing the work at a fast pace after solving the problem of the international-level cricket stadium to be built in Chitwan.
