Suraksha Learned Acting Along With Parrot To Play Film 'Bahaab'

Mar 22, Kathmandu: Actress Suraksha Pant's film 'Bahaab' is releasing on April 7. Suraksha portrayed a character in the film that presents a lover, a rebel, and a mental conflict. Pant's character is also seen in the trailer having a conversation with a caged parrot.

Looking at the trailer, it seems that Suga himself is playing the role of a character. During the two-month workshop and filming in Chitwan, Suraksha became close to Suga. I stayed at the workshop with Suga for two months.

As soon as animals and birds are mentioned, we shy away. My experience with the parrot was different," she said. "I opened the door to say that he had come out of the cage, but he did not come out. He was confused. There is also fear. Although he understood our language, he was sensible. Birds have unique qualities. The story also matches Suga in some way.

In the experience of security, at first, the parrot did not come close to him, but then gradually came closer. "Slowly he came so close to me that my legs started moving around him. Even when I was sleeping at night, I would go to the stand light next to my pillow and stay asleep," she said.

Even in the trailer, she asked Suga, "You don't like to fly, do you?" But in the experience of security, even though the parrot wants to fly, there is fear in him and the destination is not certain. Because he is enjoying himself inside the cage. Suraksha said that she is another parrot in the film. I want to leave home, but time and constraints do not allow that to happen. I am another parrot in the stream," she said.

Presented by Swarnim Entertainment and Young Star Cinema, the film is written and directed by Pramod Kandel. Sridhar Paudel has invested in the film, which has 'Curiosity, Thought, and Reality Story' as its main theme. Paudel had earlier produced the film 'Gopi'.

Kamal Mani Nepal, Afran Ali, Surya Sharma Bhatt, Ishwari Singh, Hiralal Kandel and Pawan Shrestha are also acting in the film. The film has been edited by Sujan Badal, music by Vasant Sapkota, Sushant Gautam, and Rikesh Gurung, and cinematography by Kartikeya Smitha Karnataka.
