UML has no plan to break the 10-party ruling alliance: UML General Secretary Pokharel

Mar 23, Kathmandu- CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that UML has no plans to destroy the 10-party ruling coalition.

In a press conference held by Press Chautari Dang in Ghorahi, General Secretary Pokharel said that UML will not immediately break the coalition, saying that the instability has increased when the general secretary Pokharel only focuses on forming and destroying the government. He said, "We are not going to destroy the current 10-party alliance." If the government works in favor of the country and the people, we support it. We are not thinking of breaking the alliance to reach the government again.

Pokharel said that UML will always oppose if the government engages in anti-national independence activities by riding on the shoulders of foreigners rather than the country and the people. General Secretary Pokharel said that the country's economy was weak due to Arzu Rana and Janardan Sharma in the past and commented that the economy was devastated because of the coalition government.
