Leg-Spinner Sandeep Lamichhane's ODI Bowling Rankings Dropped

Mar 23, Kathmandu: Leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane's ODI bowling ranking has dropped by one place.

Sandeep has dropped one place in the T20 bowling rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the highest body of world cricket. In the new rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, Sandeep is ranked 22nd. Sandeep was ranked 21st last week.  Apart from Sandeep, there are three bowlers from Nepal in the top 100 in the ODI bowling rankings. Dipendrasingh Airi of the Nepalese team is in the 56th place in the rankings.

Sompal Kami is in the 67th position and Karan KC is in the 96th position. Similarly, two batsmen from Nepal have made it into the top 100 in the batting rankings of ODI cricket. Nepali team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel is in the 57th position and Asif Sheikh is in the 67th position.

Similarly, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan and Mujibur Rahman are ranked first and second respectively in the world bowling rankings. Australia's Jas Hazlewood is at the top of the ODI bowling rankings and Pakistan captain Babar Azam is at the top of the batting rankings, both of whom are currently playing in the CPL.
