Australia Won Three-Match ODI Series Defeating Indian

Mar 23, Kathmandu: Australia has won the three-match ODI series by 2-1 after defeating the host India by 21 runs.

After winning the toss at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Australia started batting and scored 269 runs after losing all wickets in 49 overs. Chasing a total of 270 runs, India lost all wickets in 49.1 overs and managed to make only 248.

For India, captain Rohit Sharma and Subnam Gill got off to a good start with a partnership of 65 runs for the first wicket. Similarly, Virat Kohli, who came to the crease in one down, played a half-century of 54 runs in 72 balls with two fours and a six.

Australia's Adam Zampa took the most four wickets. He took four wickets for 45 runs in 10 overs, while Aston Agar took two wickets and Marcus Stoinis and Sean Abbott took one wicket each.

In the first innings, Mitchell Marsh played the highest innings of 47 runs for Australia, who were struggling against the Indian bowling. Apart from that, wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey contributed 38 runs, Headley 33 and Marnus Labuschen contributed 28 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav and Hardika Pandey took three wickets for India. At the Wankhede Stadium, India defeated Australia by five wickets and in the next match they won by 10 wickets against Australia. Australia became champions with a victory against India in the decisive ODI in Chennai.
