Mar 23, Kathmandu:  The Jitpur Simra Gold Cup football tournament with the highest prize of 10 lakhs of Mofasal starts today.

Organizing club president  Ramachandra Lama said informed that 10 well-known teams of Mofusal along with five clubs of A Division will participate in the match. According to him, the host Nava Janjagruti and BFC Chitwan will face each other in the opening match.

The winner of the competition which will run from March 23- April 1 will get Rs 10 lakh and the runner-up will get Rs 5 lakh, while the best player will get a motorcycle. The organizers said that the best player will be given 20,000 and the man of the match of each game will be given 10,000.

APF, Satdobato Youth Club, Himalayan Sherpa Club, Church Boys United Club of A Division along with former winners NRT are participating in the competition, while BFC Chitwan, Birgunj United Club, Makwanpur 11 Hetauda, Bagmati Youth Club Sarlahi and host Nava Janjagriti Youth Club of Mofusal are competing. said.
