Mar 23, Kathmandu:  At present, there is an influence of western winds along with local winds in the country, according to the Weather Forecast Division. As a result of which there is a partial change in the mountainous terrain of the country.

In the afternoon, there is a possibility of light rain with lightning over the hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki regions. There will be scattered rains in the hilly areas of other provinces. At night, there is a possibility of temporary rain with lightning in the hilly areas of the Koshi and Gandaki regions.

On Friday, Lumbini, Karnali, and Far-west provinces are likely to experience light rain with thunder. On Friday night, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. The department said that this process will continue on Saturday.
