Mar 23, Kathmandu: Yogendra Shahi has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission of Karnali Province.

The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to appoint Shahi as the vice president. He was earlier a member of the Planning Commission.  Similarly, the meeting decided to appoint Bharat Kumar Sharma from Rukum West as a chief administrative advisor to Chief Minister Rajkumar Sharma.

Sharma is the former Chief Secretary of Karnali Provinvce. It has been decided to appoint Shalikram Pokhrel as the senior economic advisor.
