Current Government Is Anti-People: UML Central Member Bishnu Rijal

Mar 23, Kathmandu: Nepal Communist Party UML central member Bishnu RiJal has said that the current government is anti-people.

Rizal said this while addressing a meeting of leaders held at Chandannath Municipality-10 Peepalgaon in Jumla under the Mission (Grassroots) campaign of (UML). Leader Rijal who is also the deputy head of UML's propaganda department said that the current government's decision to cut subsidies on fertilizers, a Buddhist university in Mustang, not to test pesticides on vegetables coming from India is against the people's interest.

He said that the current government is trying to make the country an arena for foreigners in the name of the Buddhist University in Mustang. "Anti-people decisions such as making the country a foreign colony in the name of a Buddhist university in Mustang, not testing pesticides on vegetables from India, and reducing subsidy on agricultural fertilizers have been stopped due to our pressure," said leader Rijal.

Central member Rizal said that the current government still needs public pressure. He also said that UML should gather from villages to advance the party as a strong opposition.
