China Warns US To Remove Warships From South China Sea

Mar 23, Kathmandu- China has warned the United States to withdraw its troops from the South China Sea. The Chinese People's Liberation Army warned the American warship to leave the South China Sea on Thursday.

Beijing said the People's Liberation Army had spotted a US warship in its territorial waters and warned it to return immediately. China has been claiming the South China border as its right. However, the International Court of Justice has decided that China's claim has no legal basis.

The Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Brunei also have their claims in the said waters, while the US has been saying that everyone has the natural right to operate a ship in international waters.

The People's Liberation Army has said that the peace and stability of the region have been disturbed by the illegal entry of the American warship into Chinese waters without the permission of the Chinese government. The US has not given any response in this regard.
