Country's Health System Is Not In Order So Let Government Take Notice: MP Dilkumari Rawal

Mar 26, Kathmandu: National Assembly member Dilkumari Thapa Rawal (Parvati) has said that the country's health system is not in order.

He said this while speaking at the meeting of the National Assembly on Sunday. She said that Nepal's health system is worrying. According to him, patients have to die in the ambulance when they are taken from one hospital to another.

She said that the achievement of the federal democratic republican system, federalism, and three levels of government was not seen when the health system was not organized. MP Thapa mentioned that citizens are suffering due to a lack of coordination and cooperation between the three levels of government.

He complains that even the hospitals under the federal government have not become citizen-friendly. She said that because hospitals are not patient-friendly, the incidence of chronic diseases has increased.
