Mar 27, Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation did not allow the meter usury victims of Bardibas, who came to Kathmandu seeking justice from Madhesha, to enter the open forum. The metropolis has deployed a large number of policemen since about 2 hours ago to stop them.
Protesters have also just arrived at the gates of Khulamancha. As soon as they arrive, the police are trying to stop them, while the protestors are shouting slogans against the metropolis. On the other hand, the city police chief of the metropolitan city Rajunath Pandey has said that they will not be allowed to enter the open forum.
He had already arranged a place for those victims in Pashupati and asked them to go there. He said, "It is not necessary to go to the open stage, we have made arrangements at Pashupati's Dharamshala, they go there, not to the open stage."
The victims of meter exploitation have come to Kathmandu to put pressure on the government. It is said that they have a program to protest in the open forum. They came to Kathmandu seeking justice on an 11-day walk.
