Mar 31, Kathmandu:  The National Independent Party has prepared a preliminary list to decide the candidates for all three constituencies where the by-elections will be held. A preliminary list of candidates was prepared on Thursday night for the by-elections to be held in Tanahun-1, Chitwan-2, and Bara-2.

The final decision will be made from the said list. It has been confirmed that the party chairman will contest in Chitwan 2. The names of Ramesh Kharel and Yuvraj Neupane are on the list in Bara-2. One of these people is going to be nominated. It is said that Kharel is more likely here. Former DIG Ramesh Kharel is the President of the Sushasan Party. He was the Kathmandu 1 candidate in the December 4 election.

Similarly, the names of Swarnim Wagle, Ishwar Lamichhane, and Dr. Rupak Bk Ghimire are on the preliminary list in Tanahun-1, which became vacant after Ramchandra Paudel was elected as the President. Wagle is likely to be a candidate from here. Wag left Congress and joined the RSP only on Thursday.
