Apr 5, Kathmandu:  After the success of the first part of the film 'Brahmastra', Bollywood director Ayan Mukherjee has announced the second and third parts. According to the announced timeline, the second part of the film will be released in 2026 and the third part in 2027. Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Ayan Mukherjee are jointly producing the film.

Announcing the film, director Mukherjee writes, "The time has come, to do some updates on the Brahmastra trilogy, the Astraverse, and my life." After soaking up everyone's love and feedback on part one, I'm focused on creating a vision for part two and part three. I now know that part one will be bigger and more ambitious.

Brahmastra grossed ₹431 crores (US$54 million) worldwide. This film was also the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022. This film is said to be the 20th highest-grossing Bollywood film to date.
